The storyline of Ruptured follows a girl named Claire who is on her annual summer vacation, and her dad leaves Claire and her mom to have a girls day. When it’s lunch time Claire and her mom go to a restaurant and her mom breaks the news to Claire that she wants to get divorce with her dad. Then Claire’s mom passes out unexpectedly. They go to a hospital two hours away and they figure out that her mom has a brain aneurysm. Claire is traumatized by what happened and she’s clueless. Two things are on Claire’s mind, the divorce and the fact that her mom has a brain aneurysm. There is so much on her mind and she doesn’t know if her mom will live.
